Cancel or amend by using “Messages”
You can inform us directly on the iPify platform of amendments or cancelations.
To do this, navigate to your instruction and then to the “Messages” tab. Then start a new message and write your request to cancel or amend.

If you prefer to write an email to us, please inform us whether you wish to:
- cancel your instruction or
- amend your instruction
- EP number
- your reference number
- the jurisdiction(s)
We will then get back to you as soon as possible.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I cancel my instruction directly on the platform?
An instruction may already be in progress with the foreign associate or the local patent office in the jurisdiction. We will need to review the current progress to understand if costs are to be incurred. Once we review the status of the instruction, we will inform you with written confirmation of the cancelation and any applicable costs.
