# How do I use the Unitary Patent Simulator?

In this video, you will see how to

- Add and remove jurisdictions
- Change the currency between EUR, GBP, USD and JPY
- Change the language of the proceedings of the European patent
- Change the time between the patent application date and the grant date of the European patent
- Change the average word count of the European patent
- Change the lifetime of the patent in a specific jurisdiction or in all jurisdictions

💡**Tip**

Jurisdictions that have ratified the UPCA (and possibly signed depending on your settings) are tagged with UP
