How to monitor the progress of your instruction with iPify

Monitoring options
You can check the current status of your instruction at any time on the iPify platform.
You can locate your instruction by:
- Using the search bar function at the top of the page
- Searching on the home page, “Patents”
- Clicking on the side panel “Orders” and then “Purchases”
Just search with your EP number or scroll down to locate your instruction.
Quick view
There are four steps you can quickly monitor:
- Instructed (including date of instruction)
- Accepted (including date of acceptance)
- Completed (including expected delivery date and official deadline)
- Closed (including expected delivery date)

Use the Summary tab for an immediate overview of the status of your instruction and fast access to all completed orders and documents.

Detailed view
For a more in-depth view of your instruction progress, tab across to “Tasks” from the “Summary” page and you will find a real-time step-by-step guide to the workflow tasks we undertake.
Click on the View button of each task to see a complete breakdown of the steps completed and those yet to be performed:
EP level and jurisdiction level views
You can view the progress of your instruction at
- Case level (default)
- Jurisdiction level
Click the jurisdiction of interest on the Summary tab to view the jurisdiction level
You will then have an overview of:
- The jurisdiction's official deadline
- The progress of the jurisdiction
- Available documents
- Individual jurisdiction invoice (if applicable)
Frequently asked questions
Will I be told when my instruction is completed?
You will. We will send you an official confirmation of the completion of your instruction and notify you that your documents are available to be downloaded. We will send this to you around the expected delivery date indicated in your instruction.
