At iPify, our philosophy is to simplify communication and avoid the flood of messages hitting your inbox.
Our platform acts in itself as a channel of communication. You can send and receive messages about your case and keep track by adding internal notes visible to your organisation about the case.

Write a message
New message
After placing your instruction, you can send a message to us by locating your case and then navigating to the Messages section (as shown below). By default, you will land on the option to send a message to your "Network". This means iPify and any applicable agents.

Then click "+ New message"

Under "Recipient", select iPify and write your message. The message will be tied to your case so there is no need to specify your reference or the patent number.

Then when you're ready, click "Send message".
Request an acknowledgement
For those highly important messages and for peace of mind, you can request an acknowledgement of receipt from us by ticking the box (see below).

We will sometimes request the same from you just to ensure we know you've received our highly important messages.
Upload a file
Send us PoAs or translations by attaching them to your message. Drag and drop or "Select a file" to upload.

💡Tip
Use the "Show more" feature to refer to the Patent info, orders placed and the current status of each jurisdiction/service whilst writing your message.

Receive a message
When we send you a message, you will receive a notification to your preferred email address.

A link will be provided to take you straight to the message so you can view or reply.

You can also view any sent or received messages for your case at any time by searching for your case and navigating to the "Messages" section.
Internal notes
You can organise your file by leaving case notes or attachments on the patent for you or your colleagues. Just tab across to "Internal notes" as highlighted below and begin adding your information. 
Then follow the same simple steps as writing a message to add your internal note or save an attachment
Frequently asked questions
Can I use "Messages" on my case to contact iPify before instructing my patent?
Before instructing your patent, you will only be able to use the "Messages" section on your case to send "Internal" messages (i.e. to your entity). Should you need any help from us before placing an instruction, you can contact the Customer Success team via live chat, email or phone.
